Workshops are conducted regularly in metropolitan and rural areas. The association now has a trained team of experts who will provide inservicing for primary and secondary teachers either as a whole staff or as individuals. Check 'News' for upcoming workshops.

A helpline is available to teachers who need advice or support or who wish to visit another school to see colleagues in action.
We have recently set up a mailing list to provide a forum for teachers to discuss matters arising from their teaching of Philosophy.
These are held once each term to strengthen the community of Philosophy teachers.
Meetings may include
adult discussions of philosophical issues forums in which teaching experiences and strategies are shared expert speakers workshops to develop discussion plans
These meetings are informal and are held at various schools in the association.
Meetings are usually advertised on the News page of this site
